Connecting to the Grid of FortisAlberta

FortisAlberta is the owner of their electric distribution system. They also operate the electric distribution system of several REAs. FortisAlberta delivers electrical energy to you, but they do not sell this energy to you.

They have done a good job in making Alberta's micro-generation information simple and easy to access on their web site.

  2. FortisAlberta's Micro-Generator Application Form
  3. FortisAlberta's Mini Micro-Generator interconnection agreement Please phone Fortis to get the interconnection agreement for other sizes of Micro-Generators.
